Bridal Registries
We've registered at Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Depot, Pier 1, and Pampered Chef! We've also included other non-registry ideas!
Here is a link straight to the gift registry but if that doesn't work you can search for us from the main Bridal & Gift Registry page. Here are some explanations about some of the items in the registry:
- Towels: The Twilight and Fennel towels are for our bathroom, the Chianti and Hunter ones are for the other full bath, and the two extra Cinnabar hand towels are for the half bath downstairs.
- Bedding: The down comforter, duvet covers, and blanket are for our bed. We actually already have two sets of sheets that match the duvet covers in navy and white! The seemingly random set of queen sheets is for the air mattress we have in case anyone wants to come visit us. They match the comforter that I had on my queen bed before I moved down to VA.
- Glass Shelves: The two glass shelves (and their corresponding brackets) are for us to display our interesting and colorful collection of martini and shot glasses.
- The Napoli mugs are on clearance so I think they're discontinuing them. Cherry colored ones are on the list but that's just because the registry wouldn't let me add any others. In-store stock will vary from store to store. We'd liked all the colors and we currently have a cherry, a celadon, and a sand so variety is good!
- Cookware: I'm still working on the cookware. I'm really interested in the Anolon pots and pans. They were rated extremely highly by consumer reports... plus Rachel Ray (from 30-Minute Meals on The Food Network) uses them. ;) Anyway, it seems that some of the Anolon pots and pans are available (at least at Bed Bath & Beyond) only as a part of a set - not alone - so I'm looking for another store (such as Macy's) that sells them individually.
Notes:
* This registry can be accessed online or in stores. For in-store shopping you can ask for a printout at the Customer Service desk. When you return the printout to them, they will update the registry with the items purchased.
* When searching for our registry, you can use either of our names.

We have a backyard to entertain in and a nice big grill to cook for friends and family. Now all we need is somewhere to sit! (I love my hammock... but it's a little hard to eat while swinging!) Home Depot closest to us (see below) had the table and chairs on display so we actually got to try them out.

gift registry but if that doesn't work you can search for us from the Find A Registry page. The reason we've registered for seemingly random numbers of glassware is that we are matching items we already have! We already have 6 of the tall tumbler and 5 of the wine glasses. (Don't ask.)

Other Ideas
We have a beautiful wine rack in our dining room... but it's mostly empty right now! We'd love help filling it up with a variety of delicious wines to share with our family and friends! We have yet to agree on a single bottle of wine so we're going to need a sampling of both reds and whites to try. Our current favorites are Riesling (Kristen) and Pinot Noir (Chad) and we also like Pinot Grigio and Chianti (again the white is Kristen and the red is Chad) but we're also interested in trying new things! We'd love to try some of your favorites!
We also have a lot more photos than we have frames in which to display them! We'd love to start a picture wall (like Grandmom Arrildt's) with a bunch of elegant but eclectic frames. (Those that know me well understand my psychosis about things matching and will realize what a leap this is for me!) Then we can invite people over to show off all of our friends and family!
